The American Cancer society estimated in 2000, 40,800 would die of breast cancer. Canada and the USA have the highest rates of breast cancer in the world with a woman dieing of breast cancer every 12 minutes. Though health is a birth gift for most, over the year’s society has accepted an onslaught of diseases as normal or an expected part of aging despite research attributing 80% of diseases to our diet and lifestyle. Breast cancer is preventable and it is treatable. Foods to Prevent Cancer

In 2000, The American Cancer Society estimated 552,200 people would die of cancer. It is the second leading cause of death behind heart disease. Doctor T Colin Campbell (with T. M. Campbell II) authors of The China Study, explain how cancer proceeds through three stages: initiation, promotion and progression. Related to growing a garden, initiation is the sowing the seeds; promotion is the growing stage and progression is an out of control/running wild stage. Though the planting of seeds (cancerous cells) may be common, it is the promotion stage that determines if these seeds (cells) will germinate. They require the right conditions and promoters (toxins/carcinogens) to grow. This stage is preventable and reversible with dietary factors and environment playing a crucial role in promoting or deterring cancer cell growth. The progression stage is when advanced cancer cells progress in their growth - become malignant, potentially metastasizing and causing death. With influences from the Ayurvedic approach, Qi Gong Energy Medicine, Mindfulness Awareness, Tai Chi, and Yoga, Teri will teach you exercises to release tension and anxiety, increase vitality, boost your immune system and protect your own NRG field. You will learn a series of movements to enhance your ‘chi’ (life force), and numerous affirmations to inspire, heal and self motivate yourself and your clients. This practice is ideal for instructors, personal trainers, program directors, club managers, wellness coaches and all that want to live life fully and lead clients and members by example.
