RED VELVET BEET LATTE
This dessert-like latte is a delicious drink to enjoy and wow guests with. A big bonus is, it's a liver lover and mineral rich. Gotta love when something that tastes so good, is so good for you. It is the aim with all of my recipes.
I order my beet root and cacao powder from www.rawelements.ca as I've been an #ambassdor for them for decades. Giddy-yo is my fave for raw cacao and Sunwarrior makes a super just beets powder that's organic.
INGREDIENTS
2½ -3 cups organic non-dairy milk of your choice, divided
3-4 tsp Beet root powder, to taste - it has its own naturally sweet, earthy richness so start with 3 tsp
2 tbsp organic raw cacao powder, sifted if needed
Sweetener such as stevia, coconut sugar, raw honey or maple syrup, to taste
OPTIONAL TOPPING GARNISH:
1/2 cup non-dairy milk to froth such as the #Belsoy shown below or SILK creamer foams well too.
Garnish with raw cacao powder or cinnamon, if desired
