
WATERMELON COCONUT WATER SLUSHY

When the need for something icy cold calls your name, this oh-so-easy-to-make slushy is truly ideal. It’s a perfect post workout hydrator as well – just add a tiny pinch of quality sea salt for added electrolytes. Plan ahead and have frozen watermelon on hand, then all you need to do is fire up your power blender, blast and then spoon into your favorite glass, sit down and enjoy this amazing and low-cal, no-fat frosty treat.

INGREDIENTS:
Approx. ½ - 2/3 cup coconut water – your favorite brand or fresh young Thai coconut water
2 cups frozen watermelon, slightly defrosted (cut into 1 inch pieces, freeze)
GARNISH: Fresh mint, optional

- Add coconut water and frozen water melon chunks to your power blender and blast using the tamper to gently push down the watermelon until you have a fabulous light pink slush.
- Pour into two chilled glasses, garnish and serve with spoons.

- You can make this in a liquid version by simply using fresh watermelon instead of frozen.
