FROZEN BANANA CREME BLAST
with a super food mega booster

This recipe came about one sunny afternoon in October when a craving for a sweet chocolate treat hit and time was tight. I pulled out my mini-processor, frozen bananas, both a green super food and raw cacao powder, almond butter and a splash of left over coffee from breakfast and voila - a healthy treat. Its so easy, so fast, so good and it's a health booster with the greens powder. Perfect right!
INGREDIENTS:
3 cups frozen banana chunks
1 tbsp almond or cashew butter
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
A small splash non-dairy milk, as needed
1 heaping tbsp raw cacao powder
1 tbsp greens powder such as vitamineral greens or spirulina, optional
Tiny pinch fine gray sea salt
GARNISH:
Hemp, flax or chia seeds, chopped nuts, cacao powder, berries, cinnamon...

- Prep time: 5 minutes
- Makes: 2 servings
INGREDIENTS:
3 cups frozen banana chunks
1 tbsp almond or cashew butter
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
A small splash non-dairy milk, as needed
1 heaping tbsp raw cacao powder
1 tbsp greens powder such as vitamineral greens or spirulina, optional
Tiny pinch fine gray sea salt
GARNISH:
Hemp, flax or chia seeds, chopped nuts, cacao powder, berries, cinnamon...
DIRECTIONS:
- Puree all the ingredients in a high speed blender or food processor until its a frosty creamy blend.
- Pour into glass bowls or stemware and garnish as desired.
