TERI’S ROASTED TAMARI NUT MIX
Recipe created by Teri Gentes; Permission required to reprint.
Salty, savory, crunchy, yumminess it just what these roasted nuts are. I like to include a warming, pay attention to me addition of spiciness with cayenne pepper. Especially in the colder seasons as it helps improve circulation and for someone whose hands and feet get so cold, this is medicine. When you make them, know that any mix of nuts and seeds works great. Use what you have on hand. The creation makes for a super gift and you can make a double batch, pack some up in a lovely jar once they've cooled.
INGREDIENTS:
4 cups raw nuts or seeds - almonds, pecans, walnuts, pumpkin, etc.
4 tbsp tamari, gluten-free
½-1 tsp garlic powder
¼-1/2 tsp cayenne, to taste
Pinch Sea salt
