RAW CACAO BANANA BUTTER SMOOTHIE
Chocolate fans, this is for you. It's creamy, rich, chocolatey goodness at its best. And it's so full of vigor you are sure to be charged up for the entire morning. If you are a coffee fan top with a pinch of finely ground coffee as well along with your favorites. Finish it with a thinned out cashew butter or SunButter drizzle and you’ve become a gourmet good foodie artist.
Eating as opposed to drinking my smoothies is my norm as you'll see in my recipes. If you are more the grab and go soul, just add more liquid and forego all the toppings.
INGREDIENTS
Approx. 2/3 cup non-dairy milk
1 heaping cup organic spinach
1 cup frozen ripe banana chunks
¼ medium-size avocado
1 generous tbsp raw cashew or SunButter
1 tbsp each flax seeds and Sunwarrior protein powder
1 heaping tbsp raw cacao powder
½ tsp each cinnamon and turmeric w/ black pepper
½ cup crushed ice
OPTIONAL:
Pinch sea salt and dash cayenne
Sweetener if desired such as dates, raw honey, agave or stevia
GARNISH:
Berries, coconut, cacao nibs, granola, buckwheat groats, hemp seeds, gogi berries, coconut crème or yogurt…

- Prep time: 5 minutes
- Yield: 1 Generous Serving

Approx. 2/3 cup non-dairy milk
1 heaping cup organic spinach
1 cup frozen ripe banana chunks
¼ medium-size avocado
1 generous tbsp raw cashew or SunButter
1 tbsp each flax seeds and Sunwarrior protein powder

DIRECTIONS
- Measure all of the ingredients but the garnishes into your high speed blender and blend on high speed to create a smooth, thick and creamy consistency. Add additional non-dairy milk and ice if needed.
- Pour into a beautiful bowl and tap into creativity garnishing as desired. Now relish in the gorgeous yumminess.
