Coffee fans, this mocha espresso martini is sure to appease your desire for an indulgence that’s bittersweet. You can keep it simple and pass on the garnish if you wish as long as you ensure you create that beautiful foamy topping. Can you include an ounce of dairy? Absolutely if you wish. Choose something that has some fat in it. My choice would be regular or lite, canned organic coconut milk.

Summertime and living is ideally easy and a little more indulgent.
There is something about warm temperatures, sunshine and more socializing that seems to invite in some alcoholic beverages. Is this true for you? For me yes, I do romance the hot sun and something frosty and sometimes, spiked with alcohol. This said, while I do indulge, I always look for ways to infuse fantastic tastes with nourishment. This oh-so-yummy cold concoction is abundant in Vitamin C so go ahead and enjoy one.

-the best authentic Spanish version ever
You are sure to love this version of sangria. It was shared with me years ago at the grand age of 19 when I was living in Montreal. A wonderful woman working in one of the restaurants told me her secret to a true Spanish Sangria after I raved over her creation. A tip I’ve held true to… begin to marinate the fruit the night before you plan to serve your Sangria. It creates a wonderful lusciousness and more potency when eating the fruit and yes it is very fun to eat the fruit so use your favorites.

On occasion, I love a really good martini! Yes I know, it’s a funny line for of course this is very subjective. We all have our own version of what ‘really good’ translates to in accordance to our own taste-buds.
My essential with martinis in particular– shake it 50 times or more over a steel shaker full of ice for a shards of icy crystals cocktail. It’s the best!

TERI'S CLASSIC MARGARITA - JUST 3 INGREDIENTS
Oh, the yumminess of a classic, real ingredients, shaken margarita. It’s my fave version! You can taste the tequila. There is no processed sugar syrup used. The sweetness comes from the orange liqueur. And, very important,
it must be shaken not blended!
Also, only use quality sea salt on the rim, such as this fine grey sea salt from Maison Orphee. Adding organic lime or lemon zest makes it even better.
Garnish with a lime wedge and berries if you wish. I love to shake all the ingredients up and pour out the contents of the shaker, ice included.

As a once- upon-a-long time ago bartender, a fan of tequila and essential.. 'real ingredients', I truly enjoy a great Margarita. Be it classic or made with real watermelon juice, for me, it must be shaken not blended. Then I pour it straight from the shaker into the glass. No straining required.
A rimmed and chilled glass is best yet not essential. The watermelon juice however, must be in my view. No artificial flavors for me.
