MULTI BERRY SMOOTHIE BLAST
It’s a go-to breakfast for me - a thick and creamy smoothie is my preference and adding extras to make it as health infused as possible, always my aim. Then its toppings… this is always so important. Along with eating your food over drinking,
it’s preferred for better digestion and satiety so make your smoothie thick.
Adding a variety of textures on top of the smoothie make it all the better.
For a delish creamy drizzle mix SunButter with approx equal parts of non-dairy milk and a splash of maple syrup. It's so easy and so tasty.
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup organic non-dairy milk
1 cup fresh or frozen spinach
1 heaping cup frozen mixed berries, plus more to garnish (I buy the organic mix from Costco)
1 tbsp whole flax or hemp seeds
1 tbsp SunButter or your favorite
¼ cup ice as desired
½ inch piece ginger root
1-2 dates for a sweeter smoothie, optional
GARNISH: Berries, SunButter, granola, ground flax or hemp seeds, cacao nibs... as desired
