RASPBERRY ROSE SMOOTHIE
Raspberries are one of my favorite berries and if there are bushes to be picked you will find me there. Most of the time however I reply on the frozen organic berries and am so grateful to the mega sized bags from Costco. You will find them in my smoothies, parfaits, compotes and yes, even truffles.
INGREDIENTS:
½ cup almond, oat or soy milk
½ cup coconut or soy yogurt or silken tofu
1 cup frozen raspberries, plus more to garnish
½ cup frozen zucchini, optional
1 tbsp hemp or whole flax seeds
1 heaping tbsp vanilla protein powder or vegan collagen powder
Juice from ¼ fresh lime
GARNISH: fresh raspberries, yogurt, nuts, seeds, lime zest, as desired
INSTRUCTIONS:
If you don't want to add veggies to this smoothie consider a few chunks of frozen banana or 1/3 cup avocado. I love having a veg of some kind in my smoothie yet it's OK if you want to pass. I know not everyone is a vegetable crazy as I am.

- Add all the ingredients and blend until smooth and creamy, pour into a stemmed glass, garnish and savor this fresh, berry blast. It's a perfect start to your day or a fabulous afternoon indulgence.

- 2 tbsp soaked chia seeds
- 1 tsp acerola cherry powder
- 1 serving liquid light
- ¼ tsp each turmeric and black pepper
