Ah Hummus! Not sure how I ever managed without this fabulous, versatile and protein-rich dip before. Now it’s a staple for me and I usually have both a stash in the fridge as well as the freezer. Home-made is best of course and I have such fun playing around with recipes and adapting the legumes I use, the veggies and spices I add in. In addition, I find various toppings to add that extra something – this is essential in my view. It makes for a perfect last minute appetizer as well and hey, you gotta love having both a proverbial favorite for your guests as well as something that’s good for them too.
