February is a focus on heart health!
Let's do this physically and emotionally.

These snack ideas are wonderfully heart healthy as well as being a perfect expression of love for self and food.

It's a perfect match and I've choose quick to make ideas as well as including some store-bought foods infused with flavor enhancers that are also nutrient boosting.

You'll create gourmet tasting food all about love. Love for yummy food that begets vibrant health enabling a more romantic life. Perfect for heart health in every way.

In the first picture below it's The Overnight Bowl - this one is made with soaked chia seeds, frozen berry puree, maple syrup and a variety of seeds, nut/seed butter and my fave topper - raw cacao nibs. Find a chocolate power parfait recipe inspiration here.

No this dip isn't hummus. This is a divine baba ghanoush. Yes it takes a little longer to make yet you can always buy this dip and 'teri-o-rize' it with a drizzle of garlic olive oil, and seasoning such as zataar and sumac (find in Mid-Eastern stores), cumin, lemon juice, zest, and cayenne pepper.

For all of you Avocado Toast Junkies (yes I am one of them), here is a delicious take on this proverbial quickie snack. Its a sweet potato slice toasted up crispy and topped with tahini, black strap molasses, cinnamon and seeds.  Really, this is a must try Breakfast Torte.

For any of you truly addicted to 'hand-to- mouth' snacking, these Cashew Cacao Clusters are a taste of magic. 

When aromatic spices meet sweet, savory, salty and crunchy you are sure to be hooked. This big batch recipe offers you the opportunity to share your addiction with your loved ones.

​Of course you can also store half in a glass jar for now and stash some in the freezer for when the jar is empty. 



When you choose great snacks, there is no room for guilt. Enjoy your food with gratitude and trust your body responds best to a healthy, 'love-love' relationship with food.
